House Parties

We make it fun and easy to host a house party and get your friends and family excited about making a meaningful difference this election year. House parties typically generate thousands of dollars of vital funds for our partner groups and inspire more house parties.

It’s as simple as inviting friends and family to gather. You can use a birthday, holiday, or other special occasion to bring people together, and guests will leave feeling empowered to make a collective impact.

You invite your friends. We handle the rest, including delivering an engaging and compelling presentation. We’ll support you every step of the way!

  • We hold regular Zoom orientations for hosts.

  • After orientation, you pick a date and format — in person or over Zoom.

  • Then you’ll meet with a Flip the Vote representative, who will provide template invitations and follow-up messages, walk you through all the details, and join your party to deliver the presentation.

Virtual house parties

Zoom parties are our most popular format because you can gather friends from all over the country (and world) for a fun and inspiring hour.

In-person house parties

In-person parties are a great way to build community around a shared purpose. Flip the Vote has presented at dance parties, in hair salons, and around cozy living room fires. Available in select locations: SF Bay Area, New York City, Phoenix, Portland (OR), and Seattle.
