The Supreme Court Is Broken and Grassroots Organizing is the Remedy


July 28 (Part 1) featured author and historian Lawrence Goldstone and Angela Lang of BLOC


Lawrence Goldstone is a prolific author and constitutional historian who has written critically about the role of race and slavery in this country’s history. He currently writes for the Fulcrum, where you can find his frequent commentary and analysis of current affairs. You can order his latest book, On Account of Race: The Supreme Court, White Supremacy, and the Ravaging of African American Voting Rights, here. In 2021, this book won the Lillian Smith Book Award, which honors those authors who, through their writing, carry on Smith's legacy of elucidating the condition of racial and social inequity and proposing a vision of justice and human understanding.
