Our Team

Flip the Vote is a primarily volunteer-driven organization that educates and engages our peers to collectively maximize the impact of their political investments and activate their networks in furtherance of a more inclusive, equitable, and just American democracy.

Staff

Laura Pearl became Executive Director of Flip the Vote in early 2022 when the all-volunteer-run initiative formalized as a nonprofit organization. Among Flip the Vote’s most effective volunteer leaders during the 2020 election cycle, Laura jumped at the opportunity to put her passion for electoral politics into practice full time. Laura previously served as a Consultant at Mercer, providing strategic planning, benchmarking, and reporting for employee benefit plans. A campus activist, Laura earned her B.A. from Santa Clara University in 2020, graduating summa cum laude, with degrees in Economics and Finance and a minor in Gender Studies.

Advisory Board

Flip the Vote is fiscally sponsored by Tides Advocacy and overseen by an active volunteer Advisory Board that sets strategic direction and operates the working groups that implement all Flip the Vote activities.
